End of Employment Policy

As a valued employee at [company], we understand that you may need to leave your position for a variety of reasons. In order to ensure that the transition is smooth and fair for both you and the company, we have developed this end of employment policy.

  1. Notice of Resignation: If you are planning to resign from your position at [company], we require that you provide at least two weeks’ notice. This will give us time to find a replacement and ensure that your work is properly transitioned to another team member.
  1. Final Paycheck: Your final paycheck will be issued on your last day of employment. This will include any unused vacation time, as well as any other outstanding compensation that you are owed.
  1. Termination: In the event that [company] terminates your employment, you will be entitled to receive your final paycheck on the same day as your termination. Additionally, you may be eligible for severance pay, depending on the circumstances of your termination.
  1. Benefits: Your benefits will end on the last day of your employment with [company]. This includes health insurance, 401(k) contributions, and any other benefits that you are currently receiving.
  1. Property Return: Upon your last day of employment, you will be required to return any company property that you have in your possession, including but not limited to laptop computers, keys, company credit cards, and any other company property.

We understand that leaving your position at [company] can be a difficult decision, and we want to make sure that the process is as smooth as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your manager or HR representative. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to [company].
