Table of Contents
Instructions #
- To begin building out a lesson or topic page, go to the left side-bar, navigate to the LMS tab, expand it, and click on either lessons or topics.
- A list of titles will appear in order of last-published. Look for the content you are looking to build out and either click on it, or hover over it and click “edit”. If you don’t see your content, use the search feature to locate it.
- When the page loads up, the name will likely already appear as you likely entered it when building the course outline.
- To begin adding content, click on the plus symbol. The plus symbol will pull up a variety of options to choose from.
- Initially, you will most likely deal with “Headings”, “Paragraphs”, “Videos”, and “Buttons”. Most items can be found by typing what you are looking for.
- When you find what you are looking for, click on it, and it will appear on your page. You may then edit the item accordingly.
- For text, you will typically use Headings and Paragraphs.
- For Video, there are many options, but you can click on “Video” and have the option to upload a video, pull a video in from your media library, or insert from a URL. It is recommended to use a URL whenever possible to avoid slowing down your platform due to storing videos.
- When adding a button, you can change the shape and the text on the button. Using the link functionality, you can direct where you want users to go when they click the button, as well as if a new tab should open, which is typically best practice.
- Once your page is built out to your satisfaction, you can click “Save Draft”
- After saving, you may preview your page to see what it will look like.
- If the page is to your liking, you may click “Publish” or “Update” to have the changes officially made.
