Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough on how to mark a user as inactive in the back end of your platform:
- Access the Back End:
- Log in to the back end of your platform using your administrator credentials.
- Navigate to Settings:
- Scroll down to locate the “Settings” section.
- Select WP Fusion:
- Look for the option labeled “WP Fusion” and click on it to access the WP Fusion settings.
- Go to Site Lockout:
- Within the WP Fusion settings, scroll down until you find the “Site Lockout” section.
- Set Lockout Tag:
- In the “Lockout Tag” field, either use an existing tag or create a new one. For this example, use a tag like “inactive.”
- Configure Lockout Redirect:
- Locate the “Lockout Redirect” option. Decide where you want the lockout redirect page to lead. You can create a custom error page or use a pre-existing one. Alternatively, you can create a page with a message indicating the user is locked out and provide contact information for inquiries.
- Save Changes:
- Once you’ve set the lockout tag and configured the redirect, scroll to the bottom and click “Save” to apply the changes.
- Apply Lockout Tag to User:
- Navigate to the user management section. Look for the user you want to mark as inactive.
- Apply Lockout Tag:
- Select the user and find an option to apply tags or labels. Apply the “inactive” tag to the user.
- Confirmation:
- Verify that the tag has been successfully applied to the user account.
Now, the user is marked as inactive, and they will be redirected or locked out according to your configuration.
